Lovely early clock, nice label and comes with door and winding keys. There is a label on back from The Moon Dial in Kennet Sq from 1984 saying movement overhauled and case polished. See tape measure for dimensions. I let it run for 12 hours with no issues. Case shows age and some repair to veneer. Reverse painted tablet has been touched up. There is still losses to the paint and still some bubbles that may come loose off glass. There is a crack in the bone keyhole escutcheon. The only reason you see wire connecting weights to string is that someone removed the weights and wound the hooks all […]

The recessed parts of this case still have a bit of white polish residue from the last hand polishing. Brass case could still use a bit of touch up as it hasn’t been recently polished. Porcelain face is good with no wear to the floral decoration. There is a very small chip at the top keyhole for the f/s adjustment. Measures 11 tall and has the ST signature on fave and movement. Faux mercury inserts would benefit from a cleaning. This clock is running nicely but it hasn’t been recently serviced and comes with no guarantees. Here we have a nice Seth Thomas Double Dial Calendar Clock, with 8 Day Movement. I believe it the parlor style? The case is homemade, but looks to be well built out of solid wood. I think the clock and calendar movements are original… But Im not 100% sure. It currently keeps good time and runs smooth with a nice even tic (or beat) on a level surface. Comes with a new key and pendulum. It also features a nice bell chime that counts every hour. The calendar movement will need adjusting.
