Seth Thomas Westbury Antique Mantle Clock – Clock Works – Chimes Not Working. Made around 1940 I’m guessing. I have added a 5′ cord to plug into a standard electrical outlet. Original cord and plug is missing. Opening glass in front. Front has beautiful decorative inlay. Clock keeps time, but Westminster Chimes are not functional. Approximately 101/2″ tall, 81/2″ wide, 6 deep. Mahogany body has a few minor surface flaws, but is in overall great condition for being around 80 years old. Antique Seth Thomas 8 Columns Lions Adamantine Mantle Clock Vintage With Key. The clock and hourly chime is in good working order. Beautiful condition as shown in pictures. Key included, fully working. Has been professionally oiled/serviced and is keeping time and running like new. We let these clocks run for about a week and watch that the hour gongs and half-hour bells are accurate and any fast/slow adjustments made so you know this clock has been put through its paces and is running like a champ.
