Antique Seth Thomas Lynton-1E Tambour. Electric Striking Mantle Clock. Is keeping time and will strike/chime on the hour and half hour. The case is mahogany with an inlay strip in front. The wood case is clean and in nice condition. A few scrapes here and there as to be expected, but no cracks that I can see. According to the stamp on the bottom (5108), this clock was made in August 1951. The interior mechanism has a stamp of 5106 which translates to June 1951. Has “K478″ impressed on the back of the case. Maritime Commission in 1936. The bezel is securely attached to the rest of the case. Flat glass in the bezel is intact.
