Antique Seth Thomas Cottage clock. 9 1/8″ tall, 6 1/2″ wide and 3 1/2 deep. With metal fancy weight 1 1/2 wide. We have no idea if this clock works but still retaines the original Seth Thomas Plymouth Conn. With another paper label over that that reads: J. 160 Main Galena, Ill Watch Makers and Jewelers & c. Very cool local retailed clock. Looks to have been restored with newer metal face, hands and newer gold paint framing the glass. Ask questions but we really don’t know if it works.

See all pics for condition. This was found wrapped in early 30s news paper. Looks to have been untouched for many years. No case it was broken. Shoulld be everything for setup except the gut cord.

This antique French mantle clock is a beautiful addition to any collection. The clock features an open escapement and is made of slate and marble. The clock mechanism is made by Seth Thomas. The clock is not currently running. I think it was wound too tight. I can’t determine why there is a spot on the porcelain face that is distorted as it doesn’t appear to be damaged and is quite solid. Anyways, the clock displays very well and is a beautiful example of an early timepiece.

Offered here is this Antique Seth Thomas Black Adamantine Mantel Clock. It is in good condition; however, it needs to be cleaned, and has some cosmetic issues. The front right decorative metal foot is missing, and there are a lot of light surface scratches on the clock face inside the glass. The glass front is intact, however, and has no chips or cracks. The clock works seem to also be in good condition; however, the clock loses time. The cleaning may help with this issue. The clock key is included with the clock.
