Antique Seth Thomas Plymouth Pre 1865 OGEE Connecticut Mechanical Wall Clock So when I got this it was in pretty rough shape. The back middle piece of wood was loose and I put it back on and lined up the chime. I had to glue some pieces back on and other pieces back into place. I oiled it and got it running but I couldn’t get the chime to work, it’s like the limiting mech is stuck or something cause it chimes a whole bunch and doesn’t stop. This includes the weights, Key and pendulum bob. It does keep time. Missing lots of the veneer and even more is peeling off. Probably need to rip it all off and put new veneer on. Some of the reverse paint on the glass is missing. It’s still a project clock but I think someone could make it beautiful. Please study High Definition Zoomable photos.
