This listing is for an awesome antique calendar clock. This clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. It is the Parlor No. This clock utilizes an 8 day time/strike movement, which attaches to a lower calendar movement (with separate dial). The lower movement tells the day of the week, the month, and the day of the month. A tag attached indicated that the movement was serviced last in 2016. Used on US Navy ships during and after World War 2. This clock is in very good condition and running strong keeping excellent time. There are a few scratches on the case and crystal. The dial is dated 1943 and the movement is dated January 1944. The metal shock mount is missing, but the hinged back plate is in very good condition. The clock measures 8 3/8″ at the widest point across the back, the dial is 5 1/2″ dial, and the case is 4 deep. Please look at the pictures, they provide the best description.
