Runs well for 5 days then slows a bit looks like it may need oiling but i will not open it. Looks like a nautical government clock made in the USA. Nice looking but I really like maritime chime clocks so I m willing to let this one go. Paint on back can be cleaned since it is old. The hinge is strong and locks properly.
