These were used on ships during WWII to maintain a zig zag course for submarine amd torpedo evasion. In its original Bakelite case on its Sperry Repeater. Original Radium hamds and dial. Clock winds and runs, hands do not set- the shaft to set the hands moves, but the gear must not be engaging with the hands to set them. Hands can still be set manually.
