1920s Seth Tomas Tambour #18 8-day Mantel Clock Time & Strike Chimes Serviced

In excellent cosmetic and operating condition. Has a Seth Thomas No. 120 compact 8-day pendulum regulated movement with one-striker time-and-strike chimes on a cathedral gong. Movement has been cleaned, lubricated where appropriate, calibrated, and thoroughly tested. The case is wood finished in a very dark cherry. Case has its original finish in beautiful condition. It has been cleaned and coated with a protective hard sealing wax. Has a bronze bezel that retains its original patina, an aluminum face with black Arabic numerals. The face has some scuffs (see detail photo). Chimes synchronize automatically to the time. 9″ tall, 20″ wide, and 5.75 deep with a 5.75-inch dial. Weighs just over 5 pounds. Comes with a winding key. This clock has to be laid on a perfectly flat and level surface in order to run correctly. I don’t declare items as gifts. Thank You for viewing this item.
