WORKING Antique Seth Thomas Victorian Ogee Mantel Clock LARGE Weight Driven Nice

For sale is a large size Victorian mantle Ogee clock in its original wooden case, made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company. The clock is weight driven, instead of spring driven, which explains its large size design. The original Seth Thomas label is still present and quite complete and readable from the interior of the clock. The clock is complete (with pendulum, the winding key, and two weights) It winds, ticks and chimes (on half and full hours) as it should. I tested for a hour or so, it ticks quite well and is on time. The clock is in nice exterior condition, no major visible repairs or damages other than a small loss of veneer at the bottom right corner (please check the photos carefully as they are part of the product description). It measures approximately 25 tall, 15 wide at the base, and 4 deep. The original label inside of the the clock case helps to identify the maker. I believe the frame is Cherry Veneer on wood. The front door is decorated with reserve painting of classical fruit and flower pattern. Very colorful and ornate in design. The reserve painting design is very well-preserved and beautiful (check out the closeup photos). The clock face seems to be porcelain coated tin. Minor scratches and age related patina is expected given its antique age. Overall, the appearance of the clock is quite nice and has an authentic antique clock feel.
