There are cracks lines visible inside the glass but has not surfaced. Aside from that, unit appears to be in decent shape. Comes with key and the base as pictured.

Original WWII Zig Zag Clock. Clock needs to be reserviced – clock only works for a couple for seconds and hands move – so it probably needs to be reoiled. Does not include anything, just the clock. Photos should show everything. Research indicates that Azure clocks were used by submarines during WWII to zig zag and avoid being detected.

Movement is similar to the rectangular F Chelsea movement. Case is brass with a clear glass face, it’s a true piece of history. The clock has been well-preserved runs well and comes with key. It’s a perfect addition to any maritime collection or as a standalone piece for those who appreciate the craftsmanship and history of naval timekeeping.

This dates to the WW1/ WW2 era. But winds up perfectly with the aid of a small beaked needle nose pliers.
