Wood is in good condition and is a beautiful color. The chime for 1/2 hour worked when I bought it. But when i got it home it quit working. I started it again and I could hear the mechanism move but no sound. The hourly chime is loud and works well. There is no wind key for this clock. Base side to side 14. Top side to side 12 3/4. Top front to back 5 1/2. Base front to back 5 3/4.
