Vintage Seth Thomas Banjo Wall Clock.

Face plate has some marks on it that can probably be cleaned off. A few of the edge wooden blocks have some pieces split off. Everything works, but the hands are a bit bent, so I’m not sure if it keeps time correctly. It’s hard to let this one go!

This antique pendulum wall clock with a unique second hand is in very good condition and working. It has some ware from age and use but a minimal amount for being over 100 years old. The Seth Thomas movement is marked with an 80. After research, I think that this clock was made in the late 1800’s though I don’t see any markings on the back indicating the year it was made. Overall it’s still an awesome piece and has a great look through it.. For the most part, it’s all there. The only pieces I see missing are the back Covers.. Seth Thomas “Lever” time only wall clock in mahogany, with original paper face and great back-of-case label. Circa 1880 – 1890. Dual-wind was intended to make the time-only works more accurate: That second winder hole is not for a strike. All original except for replaced seconds hand. 10-3/8″W x 10-3/8″H x 3-1/4D. Very good condition, and has been running. As with all my clocks, I cannot guarantee running condition. You should always figure a servicing will be required upon receipt. But if you are an antique clock collector and know how to properly set it up and it runs for you, good on ya!
