This is a nice vintage antique Seth Thomas USA metal case alarm mantel / shelf clock. I think it has been overwound because the keys will not turn. If I move the clock from side to side it will start to tick. In decent condition as the pics show with some cosmetic wear and some dings to the metal and it comes exactly as shown. The chime works when the clock strikes 12, three, and six, which represents 15 and 30 minutes after the hour, as well as the top of the hour. The chime does not sound when the clock strikes nine representing 45 minutes after the hour. The whole run of the outer electrical cord is also very sticky.
