Has “K478″ impressed on the back of the case. Maritime Commission in 1936. The bezel is securely attached to the rest of the case. Flat glass in the bezel is intact. Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Time, Strike and Alarm Steeple Clock Circa 1882. It has the original signed Seth Thomas 8 day time, strike and alarm movement that is in really nice condition, not showing much sign of wear at all. It is still running, keeping time and gonging properly. It has the original label inside with a sale sticker pasted over it dated 1882. The reverse painted bottom glass depicting an 1800’s lady appears to be original. This is an antique Seth Thomas Chime Clock from around 1915 with the 89AD movement. This double strike clock appears to be intact and fully operational. It winds, runs, and chimes, but please NOTE: It is from an estate therefore it cannot be guaranteed to work without some cleaning and light restoration. The original finish shows some age-appropriate crazing. Otherwise, there is no mold, or untoward smells or appearances. There are a couple of of blemishes on the rim of the face.
