It has the original signed Seth Thomas 8 day time, strike and alarm movement that is in really nice condition, not showing much sign of wear at all. It is still running, keeping time and gonging properly. It has the original label inside with a sale sticker pasted over it dated 1882. The reverse painted bottom glass depicting an 1800’s lady appears to be original. This is an antique Seth Thomas Chime Clock from around 1915 with the 89AD movement. This double strike clock appears to be intact and fully operational. It winds, runs, and chimes, but please NOTE: It is from an estate therefore it cannot be guaranteed to work without some cleaning and light restoration. The original finish shows some age-appropriate crazing. Otherwise, there is no mold, or untoward smells or appearances. There are a couple of of blemishes on the rim of the face. Up for sale is one of the best original Antique Seth Thomas “Eclipse” Model Clocks I have ever owned. This clock was just overhauled and cleaned on 6/19/21 and runs perfect. The clock man who did the work said the movement overall was in great shape with no ware and had no reason for any bushing installation.
