KEEPS GOOD TIME! Beautiful Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle Clock

This clock is in very good condition for its age. Please inspect the HD pictures included. The clock keeps good time. When fully wound, it runs for the full eight days. It chimes on the half hour and hour (if you don’t want the clock to chime, only wind the right side hole/arbor, near 4 o’clock hour). Seth Thomas Adamantine Arch Top 8 Day Time And Strike Mantel Table Shelf Clock

This is one of Seth Thomas’ small Adamantine mantel clocks with an 8 day time and strike movement. The case is very nice and in good condition with only slight losses and a glossy finish. The pendulum bob is probably original, at the very least it’s a correct period replacement. The clock chimed properly when the hands were cycled. It’s an all around nice little clock and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!

Selected by it’s already being reference to a particularly hard type of stone and it’s use as a term defining great strength and durability, the name’Adamantine’ would now also refer to the process of essentially “heat-shrink-wrapping” the outer, finish surfaces of a wood […]
