Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day “Beehive” Style Striking Mantle Clock. This beautifully styled clock was made by The Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut, USA during the earlier 1900’s. It features a quality Seth Thomas #89 movement which has been cleaned and is in good running order, keeping time and gonging properly. The nicely styled mahogany case is still in the original finish. Up for sale is this Rare Antique Seth Thomas Brass & Copper Ships Clock Style Mantle Clock with a 6 Dial. This model has the 105 Platform Escapement Movement. But it was fully wound and not ticking for the past few years Ive owned, it was not until I moved the hands to hear the strike that it started running, which to me indicates it needs at least a cleaning and servicing. Rare Antique Seth Thomas Brass & Copper Ships Clock Style Mantle Clock with a 6 Dial. This model is often seen with a ships bell movement, This has a pendulum movement striking on a coil. The clock has wear that is shown in the pictures but no major damage. Could use a good clean and polish The clock does work however the chime is very dull and is more of a thud. Antique Black Seth Thomas Mantel Clock Label #102 Eastlake style Rare. Very nice looking clock. Has storage dust and light shelf wear. Appears to be complete, including the original back, rear label, key and a pendulum. Measurements: 13.5″ across, 10.5″ height, 6 width. The clock currently does not run. The newspaper that the key and pendulum were wrap in was from June 18th, 1965. There is a note stating that this was a wedding present to a family member roughly 90 years ago.
