This Seth Thomas mantle clock is very decorative and works good. It has just come back from our clock maker, who has tuned it up and tested it. The clock features lion heads to the sides, lion paw feet and an ornamental basket on top. The clock has a nice ring and comes with instructions to adjust the speed in case it goes off in future. The clock face has enamel Roman numerals and elegant hands. It comes with the key and pendulum. Condition is good, there are some signs of age on the metal part as shown. This is such an extraordinary piece. Looks to be in excellent condition for its age. Please look at pics for best description. It was repainted at some point in its life. Mitchell Vance & Co Seth Thomas & Sons Antique Statue Clock Repair Female Rare. This clock comes from a mans clock shop with a note saying it didnt have a pendulum or key and probably did not work. It has been in storage for at least 3 years. Its 18.5 high and 18.5 wide and 8.5 deep. There are some parts missing on the case and the rear left leg has damage. Ive shown this in the pictures. For Sale a Rare Very Nice Antique Seth Thomas & Sons Tucker Bronze Mantel Clock Circa 1878. Case has been cleaned and gone over to bring back natural bronze patina. Porcelain dial with a couple chips that are hidden by bezel. Bronze heavy bezel sits on clock and covers dial, but hinge is broken, so it needs to be removed and replaced after winding.
