Vtg Seth Thomas Double Spring Railroad or Ship’s Wall Clock on Wood Plaque Runs

Double Spring, Runs 7-5/8 Bezel. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself! Nice looking wall clock here. Made by the Seth Thomas Company in the USA. This is not the smaller 4 case model. This is the larger 7-5/8 case model. Would guess from design that the clock was made prior to WWII. The clock is most likely a 16 day mechanical brass movement with the two spring winds. No strike or chime here with this clock. Nice black colored composite case here. The numbering and minute marking are done in black on the antique white background face. The hands match and look […]

Seth Thomas Helmsman Ship’s Clock with Base / Model 1008-001 Hvide Marine

Really Cool Clock — Here’s what we know. It works – see below. The Brass base has been stamped as follows. Hitt 1981 suggesting it might be a 20 year employment or retirement award. The brass plate stamp likely places the date of manufacture to the early 1980’s. The bells work, but it looks like the hour hand needs to be adjusted two hours forward to align with the correct bell sequence. The unit has not been cleaned or unassembled except the face was removed to wind the clock. It comes with a key, but does not appear to be original. Appears to be Solid Wood – Might be Walnut […]

Seth Thomas Antique Ships Clock Bakelite-BD-161

The case is black and is bakelite. The case has some discoloration and wear and scratches but case opens and closes nicely but screw is bent but operates. The case glass is decent and needs some cleaning. The dial is discolored and dial lettering is faded some readable. The dial is marked P. The width is about 7-3/4″ and depth is about 3-1/4″. This clock runs and may stop after running a while but we recommend cleaning and service so clock can run to it’s full potential. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.

1927 Seth Thomas Eight Day Ships Bell Clock & Barometer. Working

(Springfield StormOGuide)This exquisite timepiece strikes the hour and half-hour, marking up to eight bells. Both items have three mounting holes and the front glass unscrews for winding or cleaning. These are in excellent condition, with all functions operating perfectly. This clock and barometer have a rich history, having originally been on my grandfather’s sloop from 1929 to 1980, and then on my father’s Endeavour 36 from 1980 to 2000. They are currently displayed on a handmade mahogany stand built by my father, which is included.

Seth Thomas Ship’s Wheel, Bell Strikes Brass, Clock & Barometer, Seven Jewels

Has good condition, only barometer glass has small light crack we showed on last two photos and door brass clock has very small dent we showed on last photo. The barometer has 4 silver dial with arabic numerals. Clock and barometer size. Deep 3.5 inches. Widest point 19 inches. It is NOT a house strike clock. The code is based on the crew’s typical workday routine while the vessel is underway. Therefore, the day is divided into six four-hour periods that are each called a watch. Similarly, the crew is broken up into three divisions. We do our best to research and describe the items accurately, but we are not […]
