There is a strike on and off button. Wear is consistent with age and use with scratches and service wear to the face of the clock and a few screws that have been replaced. There is also service wear to the paint on the numerals. The clock is mounted on its original wood plague and comes with its original brass key. I wound it up and it starts right up, I have not checked it for accuracy. The glass is original, the cork seal is all good. Just an amazing piece for any collector!
