Overall very good condition, but it is missing 4 spindles on the wheel. It can be used without the wheel portion. Otherwise just some light normal vintage surface marks.

This clock holds historical significance as it was used by the US Navy during World War II, making it a valuable artifact from that time period.

Marked Seth Thomas Made In U. You can hear it keeping time, ticking, no bell with this clock, 3 holes in the back for securing to wall. A highlight to anyone’s collection or home.

The clock is the Mayflower type and I was told it was made in the 1920’s or 30’s. Either way it keeps very good time, strike’s, 8 day wind and original unpolished chrome. The only thing I cannot do is shut off the strike. See all the pictures and this clock needs a home!

This has a great look to it and has been kept in good vintage condition. There may be some scratching or surface wear from age which is to be expected. Sound Opening on Bottom. Would make a great gift or keep for yourself. A nice looking patinaed brass lacquer look case on this clock. Would guess the clock dates to just before the WWII period. Has no markings on the back of the case. An uncommon feature with this clock is the sound venting on the bottom of the case. An uncommon, but ingenious feature to allow the strike of the clock to be heard over a larger area. The bezel (door) is attached to the rest of the case. Flat glass in the bezel is intact.
