This is one of my favorite type clocks being a Navy veteran and Seth Thomas(w Ansonia) being one of my favorite clock makers. It is from and very good collection and I have more to list but we will start with this and another striker. Strike works and sounds wonderful those that might not be familiar with Navy watches cycle every 4 hours w 1-8 strikes on every half hour. MAY/MAY NOT HAVE MINOR STORAGE MARKS AS SEEN. THE CLOCK SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN PAINTED OVER AND THE BASE AND THE BAKELITE RIM EDGES HAVE MAJOR REPAIR DONE. THERE SEEMS TO BE A MAJOR OVERHAUL DONE IN THE MACHINE, HENCE PLEASE CHECK ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. PLEASE SEE PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.

This is an excellent original piece. Seems to run fine, but this is 80 years old so it probably needs to be oiled/serviced.

I thought the patina was nice on this piece but I can polish it if you’d prefer.

SIZE IS 3 1/4 DEEP X 7 DIAMETER INCHES. 15 DAY CLOCK, DOUBLE ARBOR WIND WITH KEY. SEE THE MOVEMENT WITH THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENT STILL ATTACHED TO CASE AND HOLE FOR WIRE. IN THE BACK OF HE CASE. THIS INDICATES THIS WAS THE MASTER CLOCK, AND IN THE ENGINE ROOM OR DECK HOUSE AND SIGNALED. OTHER CLOCKS FOR THE BELLS. IN VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION. I HAVE NOT TIMED IT BUT IS AT LEAST 15 DAYS AND MAYBE 30 DAYS. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION CASE WISE. INCLUDING ANSONIA, KROEBER, WATERBURY AND SOUTHERN CALENDAR.
