Up for sale is this Early Antique Seth Thomas Brass Marine Lever Locomotive Or Ships Clock. A key will be included. This clock was restored by a previous owner and they mounted the dial to the sides of the case in a way that in order to get to the movement you have to remove the the brass tacks or nails and pull it out the back (after removing the hands). Up for sale is this nice Seth Thomas lever bottom bell ships clock c. This piece does run but has not been serviced since 1995 so I can not guarantee this as a working clock. It does sound the bell. There are some scratches on the dial as seen in the photos. The brass case is in very good condition. The three screws on the bottom of the hinge are not brass. This is a large Ashcroft Manufacturing Co. It uses a double wind Seth Thomas marine lever movement and runs well. The case is nickel silvered and has held up pretty well over the years. Its keeping time pretty well. The case uses a side key that probably isnt original, but it works ok. The winding key is not original. I also notice a slight dent in the bezel right around the 2, but its not noticeable in the pictures and is hard to detect otherwise. This is a rare clock and larger than most.
