Here is a recent estate find. This has a Beautiful Nickel Plated Brass Nautical Porthole Style Case with Wooden Back with’Hinged Bezel’ and Exposed Bottom Bell. The Clock Has a’Silver Over Brass’ Metal Dial with Roman Numerals and Seconds Sweep Sub Dial, Signed’Seth Thomas Made in USA’. This is a Key Wind Clock. There are 2 Winding Arbors on the Dial, and it Includes a Winding Key. 11″ x 6 1/4″ x 3 1/2. The Clock is in Good Working Condition, but Has Not Been Serviced. Double Spring, Runs 7-5/8 Bezel. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself! Nice looking wall clock here. Made by the Seth Thomas Company in the USA. This is not the smaller 4 case model. This is the larger 7-5/8 case model. Would guess from design that the clock was made prior to WWII. The clock is most likely a 16 day mechanical brass movement with the two spring winds. No strike or chime here with this clock. Nice black colored composite case here.
