Antique Seth Thomas Sonora No. 5 Chiming Shelf or Mantel Clock, Adamantine finish with 90D movement. Excellent condition, keeps good time, chimes properly, but needs work. Case in fantastic original condition, with no cracks, splits etc. Very minor wear with age. The original convex crystal is in perfect condition with good hinges and latch. The dial is showing some wear and discoloration. Needs a few repairs/adjustments. The hourly strike mechanism is not working. The spring is broken or detached. The pendulum hanger is just slightly too long or adjusted too low. I decided not to try adjusting the length of the hanger because I was afraid of damaging the works. […]

Seth Thomas Antique Steeple Shelf / Mantle Clock Key Pendulum. The case is Mahogany wood that was restored some time ago. This is a eight day clock with a Bim Bam strike sound. It has the original pendulum and comes with a key. The bezel is an original but looks like it was repainted. The movement was serviced not to long ago and has the clock repair shop decal inside the case. There are a couple of tiny scuffs on the wood case. There is a ding on the front top peak.
