The clock actually has a strong hook on the back and I’m guessing it could be used to hang on the wall. Whats neat about this clock is that it has a working level on the bottom which was beautifully installed to keep the clock level. At the top of the clock is a thermometer. This Seth Thomas Mantle clock dates to 1917 and was called Dundee. The original #89AL movement has been completely serviced and is in working condition. Movement taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, repairs made as needed, new springs installed, lubricated and tested. Clock gongs once on the half hour and gongs the hour on the hour. This is an 8-day strike clock and it has to be wound weekly. Includes key and pendulum. 8 3/4 wide x 10 1/4 hi. Cabinet is the original mahogany, lacquered, and polished.
