RARE Antique ELI TERRY, Woodworks With SECOND HAND, Retirement Gift From DuPont Family. As told this clock was given as a retirement gift to a long time employee of the DuPont family. This eight day woodworks with second hand was made in the 1820s and seems to be completely original. This clock has been in a climactic controlled display case in working condition before weights were removed before for the transfer. Up for sale is this Antique Seth Thomas Eli Terry 8 Day Wooden Works Shelf Clock W/ Second Bit. Bottom tablet is not original but it is signed by the artist L Davis. Crest looks to be a replacement, dial has had some restoration, I believe the minute hand is replaced. The case does show some veneer wear and loss. Measures about 41 x 17 3/4 x 5 3/4 deep.
