Offered is a beautiful antique Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle / shelf clock with lions heads. It is in great condition as shown. It measures 17″ wide, 11″ high 7 deep, runs perfectly and keeps good time. The little bell rings softly on the half hour and it softly chimes appropriately on each hour. This clock has the black glow in dark radium dial. This clock came off the bulkhead of a U. It is sometimes referred to as a porthole clock because it operates the same way with hing and lock-down toggle. This is a wonderful and very stunning Seth Thomas adamantine clock. This clock runs well and chimes loudly and with great resonance. This clock is in good condition with good glass and a solid face. There is a burn mark on the top and the back protrudes slightly further than it should but this is an older clock and these sorts of things are to be expected. The original signed painted dial boasts a patent date of 1878.
