Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Clock. Runs well and has bell chime and gong strike. Case is in excellent condition! Runs well and keeps good time (winding key included). Measures 16 1/2 in. Across and 11 1/4. This one is a real nice. There is a few specks of paint vary small i did not try to remove them. I thought best to leave alone. And small nick here and there nothing bad.

SETH THOMAS ADAMANTINE MANTLE CLOCK WITH LIONS. Patented on September 7, 1880. Roman numerals on left side of face have warn and two chips in faux green marble top. Keeps accurate time with gongs on the hour and a chime on the half hour (see VIDEO). Large side for winding the time keeping movement and chime. Small side for fast/slow adjustment. Settng instructions on the back label. Maintenance dates have been pencil marked on back (See Pictures).

This pair is from a yacht that was refurbished. They have been stored in a drawer for over 20 years without the battery. The clock started right up as soon as I put a new AA battery in. I saw a bit of movement in the needle of the barometer when I turned the silver knob, but I can’t guarantee it works. The front of the set is in excellent condition. There is a bit of wear on the backside from being mounted to the yacht’s cabin for several years prior to me acquiring them. Seth Thomas Antique Schoolhouse Clock not seen too often. I’m listing it as for parts or restoration because I’m not sure if everything is how it should be because I’ve never had one of these. When I checked the winders they were either completely turned or they’re frozen, I’m going to let the clock keep running and try the winders again to see if the running of the clock has loosened them up and then I’ll update the description.
