RARE AND BEAUTIFUL CAST IRON CLOCK MADE IN N. USA BY SETH THOMAS SONS & CO. Cast iron and well made. Ornate body with unique design. Original rear opening door. Thick beveled glass bezel. No cracks or dents in CAST IRON body. The figural figure on top still sits nice and proud. The glass is in great shape with no cracks and the bezel opens and closes as it should. Here we have a Mini Seth Thomas OG clock. The spring wound 30 hr clock movement runs, but have not checked the time. The case has some bumps and bruises but presents very well. This nice old clock is in very good strong running condition, as shown, with no breaks or cracks. It dongs the the correct number of dongs on the hour and a single bell ding on the half hour. It comes with key and pendulum shown. One of the lion heads on the side is missing a pin in it’s mouth. Otherwise it’s a super nice clock with nothing else to mention. Up for sale is this Rare Antique Seth Thomas Cathedral Arch Mantle Clock W/ Silvered Dial. Both mainsprings are good and it has been ticking away while I photographed it without the pendulum attached. Case shows some wear including some dings and rubs, rear door hangs down a little so you have to lift it when you close it. Measures about 11 1/8 x 8 3/4.
