I believe two finials are replaced and the third is damaged. The dial pushes in a bit when you insert the key, needs a little solder at the bottom. One of the Geneva springs stops has been removed. ANTIQUE OGEE CLOCK WITH HARD TO FIND BUILT IN ALARM! Made by famous clock maker Seth ThomasSmith. Most likely made in the mid to late 1800’s. Weights and key included. Large 25 1/4″ tall, 15 1/4″ wide, and 4 1/4 deep. Looks to be walnut overlay but please see pictures to be sure. The neither of the glass panels has cracks or chips. This clock was made sometime in the mid to late 1800’s, showing its different shades of patina. The clock has a very rich old world look to it showing the old man with beard, and the rich design throughout, with drapery and the columns giving its grandeur look. The dial is made out of beautiful porcelain with red symbols between each number, which is encased with a beveled glass cover that closes nicely.
