FULLY & PROPERLY RESTORED RARE SETH THOMAS BLACK ADAMANTINE MANTEL CLOCK. This clock features the patented Seth Thomas Adamantine finish. This is a celluloid finish that in the catalogs is described this way; the finish is very durable and cannot be scratched or dented by any ordinary usage. The clock has a fully and properly restored model 89 movement, a workhorse in the Seth Thomas line from 1907 until the 1930s. I cannot find this clock in any book, it has the full side columns and large half columns like Shasta, Sucile and Sibyl but the top is very different than any of those models.
