This listing is for an awesome antique calendar clock. This clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. It is the Parlor No. This clock utilizes an 8 day time/strike movement, which attaches to a lower calendar movement (with separate dial). The lower movement tells the day of the week, the month, and the day of the month. A tag attached indicated that the movement was serviced last in 2016. Seth Thomas Parlor Calendar #3 has been completely serviced and running perfectly. The calendar mechanism works as it should and the time mechanism keeps great time. Offered as a restoration project or parts. Antique Seth Thomas double dial calendar mantel/ shelf clock. Rosewood veneered case is 33 tall. Label inside dated 1881. This is an early Seth Double dial with flat top and lower bezels. Most have rounded bezels. 8 day weight driven lyre striking movement is complete. The photos show the veneer loss.
