The Andrews patent calendar is in good working order as well, advancing day to day, date to date and month to month. Calendar paper is in good condition – not sure if original, new or restored. ANTIQUE LATE 1800’S SETH THOMAS PARLOR, KITCHEN SHELF CLOCK 8 DAY HOUR STRIKE. 3 1/4 center to center of winding arbors. 3 from hand shaft to winding arbors. Dial has heavy wear loss. Case measures 10 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ x 16h. Bell on the hour only. 4 7/8 stamped on the brass front plate. Looks like an alarm feature could be added. You won’t be disappointed. Net weight is 6 lbs.

Antique 1800’s Victorian Seth Thomas Calendar Parlor Clock. The clock has been running continuously for a week. There is some time drift so some adjustment is needed. I don’t know if the day calendar feature is working properly. I looked at it one day and then it moved a number of days. Not sure how it works. The clock face has a lot of flaking. Seth Thomas “Parlor Calendar #5″ model with double 8 dials. The walnut veneered case is clean with a few small dents (see photos) and measures 20″ x 12 1/2″ at base x 5 1/4 at the base. The original backboard indicates date of manufacture as April 1884. The movement is stamped with the maker’s name; date of last service is unknown but it is clear it could use a cleaning- the time side works well – the calendar advances daily as it should – the strike side runs if pressure placed on a lower wheel.
