This Seth Thomas Mantle clock dates to around 1920 and was made in the United States of America. Original 89AL movement has been completely overhauled and is in working condition. Movement taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, repairs made as needed, new springs installed, lubricated and tested. Includes key and pendulum. Cabinet is the original Adamantine / Mahogany finish. Cabinet was cleaned and polished. Please see photos as I have tried to show the condition of the cabinet. The dial has been replaced with a historically accurate replacement dial. The clock is time-only and includes the original Seth Thomas mechanical brass movement with dual mainsprings. The clock is in excellent condition, runs well (see video), and includes a key (the key is not original to the clock). Per the photos, there are negligible marks/dents to the clock from age/use. Seth Thomas Ogee Shelf Clock w Original Reverse Painting on Glass, 1800’s Reverse glass painting of Roman columns scene on the bottom window. Ogee case, made in possibly Plymouth Hollow, tablet glass puttied in, missing top tablet glass. Dial is metal, and two rings drawn around time track with dots for minute marks. The case has some nicks, chips, scratches in the veneer and wood back. The door opens with no problems, the putty around the windows is old.
