Clockwork runs smoothly, keeps exact time. Face shows honest time wear and bakelite case is solid, no chips, cracks, one early repair on top mounting hole. Top area surface is slightly coarse from heat? Has one blemish on top, not directly visible(pics #20,21,22). Difficult to show all details, glare, etc and satisfaction guaranteed or return it. An extremely rare antique Seth Thomas wall clock find! I don’t know the exact date, but it’s most likely late 1800s. If there are any experts who can give me a more specific date would be appreciated. This is an original Antique 8 Day USA Seth Thomas Schoolhouse Wall Clock. It has a glossy wood finish, glass face, with brass movement, pendulum, and comes with a replacement key. The clock did work. It is 24″ high and 24″ across. It has some signs of age/wear spots. I show them in the pictures. It is gold and brown. It runs but it slowly loses time. I think that could be adjusted by someone who knows how. Thank you for looking.
