This is a rare and beautiful antique desk/ mantle clock made in the Art Nouveau style. The clock is made of bronze and features a loving woman with hands corssed over clock. It is a wind-up mechanical clock with an analog display. The figure and clock appear to be all original. The clock winds up, but it does not work. Was overwound at some point. Both wind up keys are working well. Glass is clear and intact. Face is not yellowing. Back is brass color and looks clean. All hands are intact and in good working condition. Color overall seems to fade from brass at the top to silver on the base.

15.5 gilt bronze Seth Thomas Art Nouveau Clock – Runs. Fresh from a clock collector’s estate sale this clock looks great. It has a woman’s head right under the porcelain dial (nice dial). The photo of the movement is without the pendulum in place. Clock was not over wound on either side when I got it from the estate. I really don’t know much about the clock, check out all the photos. Offering this rare and beautiful Art Nouveau mantel clock by Seth Thomas. It features a lithe fairy figure on one side of the clock’s pillar and a cherub on the other side. The fairy has a realistic face and body and moth-like wings, and the cherub is a typical Cupid-style figure with a mandolin. For the collector: This is a rare to find Seth Thomas Model that features an 8 day, time only, signed Seth Thomas regulator style movement, string inlay, porcelain dial with original unique hands, heavy brass bezel and beveled edge glass crystal.
