Im not sure exactly what is happening, but they dont seem to be working. Maybe I just need a different battery, or maybe the clock mechanism needs to be replaced, Im not sure. Ive included a picture of the mechanism so youre aware of what the issue could possibly be. There are a few finish scrapes also, which Ive tried to show in the picture. The instruments measure just over 6 inches across the mounting flange and stand about 3 inches from the wall. Comes with the two mounting brackets, and the thumbnail screws that lock the instruments in place. These come from a local estate, and are in wonderful condition. We put a new battery in the clock and it fired right up. Barometer seems to be falling slightly indicating changing weather, like we seem to be having! This is an excellent Vintage Large Brass Clock Porthole that would look great in a Restaurant/Bar, Office or wherever you like. This porthole has 4 brass screw eyes which unscrew to remove the front. The glass front is plexiglass. You could make a unique table out of it if you like. The clock inside is a Seth Thomas which is a newer model and works great. It takes a double A battery.
