Seth Thomas 8 Day Mantel Clock, dated from 1880 to 1900. This clock has been in my family since it was new. Needs to oiled before starting the movement. I have notes from my father about the ownership and passing thru the family. The last time it was cleaned was 1929. The cover is missing, but I do have the key and weight for the movement.

This antique Gilbert No. 411 mantle clock is a stunning piece that will add a touch of Victorian elegance to any room. I will do my best to answer questions. The clock is missing the pendulum and key. The clock physically chimes at the half hour and in unison with the hour. When the pendulum is manually moved the minute hand will move. Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine clock dial and bezel. All original, including glass. No dings or scratches to bezel. Paper Roman numeral dial. No stains or wear to numbers. The back side has the original zinc backing. Outside bezel measurement is 5 – 7/8 in diameter. Backside measures 5 – 3/4. Please refer to pictures. For parts or restoration.

Time and striking works great. It also has an alarm but the metal wire that triggers it is missing.
