Weighs approximately 12 pounds. A little of original label on back indicates patent in 1880. Does come with original key.

A small Seth Thomas 8 day clock with columns at front, the clock chimes on the 1/2 hr, and hour. In good working condition. May be slightly fast or slow. I haven’t checked for accuracy yet. Case and glass appear to be original. I haven’t even looked at the moment at this time. If requested, I will do so, then add the photos to the listing.

It may need a tune up. I’s a little slow on time. Might just need a shot of wd-40 in the mechanism. Case is nice and key and pendulum as seen. 11.5 x 9.

This is a stunning original antique Seth Thomas mantle or kitchen (shelf) clock featuring large scroll cut gingerbread crest and side pieces decorated with cast brass scrolls, and glass door with gold floral vase and swag patterns stenciled on the inside. The clock comes complete with alarm, pendulum, and key. It was tested and is working and keeping time. It chimes on the hour and half hour. The paper clock dial is a replacement and the clock might have been refinished at some point but is in excellent condition overall. There are a few pieces of veneer missing on the back side of the crest but no other visible damage […]
