Very nice old piece. This piece does wind up and does tick. That is really all I know about this piece. I don’t test much else just because I don’t want to damage it in anyway. All I did was wind it up some and then flick the pendulum to see if it works. Sorry for the lack of information. Needs cleaned and polished. Comes with scuffs, scratches and surface wear. This clock is in very good condition for its age. Please inspect the HD pictures included. The clock keeps good time. When fully wound, it runs for the full eight days. It chimes on the half hour and hour (if you don’t want the clock to chime, only wind the right side hole/arbor, near 4 o’clock hour). However, the chimes are very muffled and weak sounding (see attached video). I tried making some adjustments to the chime arm, but nothing seemed to produce the proper sound.
