This antique Gilbert No. 411 mantle clock is a stunning piece that will add a touch of Victorian elegance to any room. I will do my best to answer questions. The clock is missing the pendulum and key. The clock physically chimes at the half hour and in unison with the hour. When the pendulum is manually moved the minute hand will move. The back side has the original zinc backing. Outside bezel measurement is 5 – 7/8 in diameter. Backside measures 5 – 3/4. Please refer to pictures. For parts or restoration.

Time and striking works great. It also has an alarm but the metal wire that triggers it is missing.

Here is a very good egyptian revival clock circa 1890 from mitchell & vance ny. This clock is probably spelter case, incredible details as you can see very well done and high quality, the movement needs work, the clock will run only maybe 20-30 seconds, there is a pendulum but no key, when trying to wind it does not there both tight, we didnt try cleaning or doing anything like that.
