This Seth Thomas was repainted by someone so I just cleaned up the case. Movement was cleaned and oiled with a new suspension spring put in place. Counts the hour with a bell on the half hour. You may have to reset and adjust the timing on this or any spring clock. They are all cleaned and polished without using polyurethane. Check out my other items! Measures approximately 18 inches in total length including the bottom feet by 7 inches wide including the bottom feet by 11 inches tall including the bottom feet. Exterior is moderately dirty and dusty throughout. Exterior shows moderate to heavy surface scratching, scuffing, general wear, paint wear and brown discoloration throughout. The brown discoloration is very heavy on the top throughout. There is a pencil eraser sized veneer flake on the center of the top. There is a silver dollar sized stain along the top center. Clock is in good shape overall with a few signs of wear on the case, but no major damage. Has the pendulum weight but does not have a key, so I’m unable to wind it to test. Internal parts appear to be in good shape with no damage or signs of wear. Measures 11″ x 5″ x 9. There are some dates in pencil that I’m assuming are dates the clock was serviced, but I cannot say for sure if that’s what they mean. This is one of Seth Thomass 5 bell, Sonora chime clocks. The clock has been running and chiming for days without issue. The bells sound nice and the cadence is good. The case is in nice original condition with a few scuffs and a small veneer chip on the top rear of the clock. Its not noticeable from the front of the clock. This is Seth Thomass 5 bell Sonora chime clock with a signed Fred Bucher & Sons Baltimore Md. The clock is in nice condition and seems to run and chime properly. The case looks to have been re-shellacked at some point, and looks pretty good. There are a few scratches and scuffs, but overall the clock looks great with a rare signed dial.
