Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine 8 Day Clock. Very nice condition, all things considered this clock is at very least 125 years old. Works were removed, cleaned, serviced & oiled with clock oil. Ready for use and enjoyment. Clock rings small bell once on half hour and gongs once for every hour on the hour. Looks like original clock dial face. 15 3/4″ wide, 17 1/4″ including legs. 4 1/2 diameter clock face.

Not sure what it needs to get going, it is not running right now. It chimes when the minute hand goes past 6, won’t stay running but can see minute hand move and other gears moving, has some scratches, marks, no glass, etc. Measurements are in the photos. This is one of Seth Thomas’s black mantels with the Adamantine finish. Cosmetically, the clock looks really good with a smooth glossy finish and original wash on the embellishments. The dial is nice, but a little faded on the numbers. The glass is a little shakey in the bezel, but that seems to be a design flaw more than anything. There’s a good label on the rear and the clock seems to retain most of its original parts.
