ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS SCHOOLHOUSE WALL CLOCK. THIS OLD TIME HANGING WALL CLOCK IS SET IN A BEAUTIFUL HINGED OAK CASE THAT LATCHES AT THE BOTTOM. UPON OPENING OF THE CLOCK INNER COMPARTMENT, THE FIRST GENERATION ELECTRICAL CLOCK COMPONENTS ARE VISIBLE SHOWING VINTAGE CLOCK MECHANISM AND THE OLD TIME WIRING WITH FABRIC TYPE WIRE INSULATION, WHICH WAS USED IN THE OLD DAYS. PASTED INSIDE OF THE COMPARTMENT FOR THE CLOCK COMPONENTS IS A “DIRECTIONS FOR SECONDARY” LABEL, LISTED AS SHEET NO. THIS LABEL STATES, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THAT “THIS CLOCK IS WOUND FOR 300 OHMS”. THIS IS BEST LEFT UP TO THE ANTIQUE CLOCK MAKER.

This antique wall clock is a stunning piece that will add a touch of history to any room. The clock features a beautiful glass face and is made of wooden materials. The clock has a mechanical movement and a wind-up (NOTE Key is Missing) It also features an 8-day cycle and a school house short drop shape. This antique clock is perfect for collectors and those who appreciate unique decorative pieces. Great Patina to the wood which is Clean with NO Foul odors. It appears to be oak. Again Note that there is no key.. I had tested it with my personal key from my short drop.
