This antique Gilbert No. 411 mantle clock is a stunning piece that will add a touch of Victorian elegance to any room. I will do my best to answer questions. The clock is missing the pendulum and key. The clock physically chimes at the half hour and in unison with the hour. When the pendulum is manually moved the minute hand will move. I attempted to upload a video but could not.

Here is a handsome American crystal regulator repair project with dial marked Gilbert but movement clearly marked Seth Thomas. Probably an old and clumsy attempt at restoring a crystal regulator. At any rate, here it is in as found condition, with good springs running but out beat and has to be tipped out of level, and rear glass has crack at top left as pictured. Could be a nice clock with correct movement and dial. Please see photos for condition.
