For your consideration is a rare French style Seth Thomas Empire mantel clock. This beautiful clock has recently been serviced with a tune up to insure it is running accurately. It has 2 doors, one in front and one in back. Beveled glass on all 4 sides. Beautiful brass design with 4 feet. It has a mock mercury pendulum. Chimes on the hour. This is an 8-day clock. Beautiful antique Seth Thomas crystal pendulum mantel, empire-style clock. The clock came from an old estate that was located on the banks of Lake Monroe in Volusia County, FL. It is brass and beveled glass in great condition and lovely brass patina. From what I understand it is circa early 1900’s. There are numbers written on the bottom that are very difficult to decipher but maybe have some significance to model. The door works and it has the original key. When it’s wound it ticks and chimes.
