Item sounds only at 1hr mark. Key winds the gears nice and smoothly. No tension or binding. The pendulum will go back and forth for half a minute before gently coming to a stop. Minute hand moves when pendulum is in motion. The wood have many bits of damage/ware. Item measures 10in wide, 14in tall, and 4.5in deep.

Beyond rare and hard to find alone is a set of early original Seth Thomas urn style finials. These came off an early on the Seth Thomas Pillar and Scroll clocks just after their earliest wood finials, 1820’s. The base and spiral style top are turned cast brass. Bowels are two piece spun brass. The steel posts are just under 1/8 dia. With just a few threads on the top of the rods. They show some rust and tarnish which they should for their age.
