Here is a very original Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hollow 30 hour wood clock, invented by Eli Terry. This one has the desirable carved eagle splat and curly maple half columns. A great, intact label and possibly the first finish. The movement runs freely without the verge, but I have not run it. It needs a pair of weights which are easily found. The bob and crank are included. The lower glass has been professionally painted; I believe this is Mt Vernon. This is a large clock at 35″ high by 17 1/4″ wide.
