The clock is in working condition and appears to be keeping good time. The clock will chime on the hour and half hour as expected. The key will be included. There are some minor scuffs/scratches – it is much less than average considering the age of the clock. The “Stroke” and “Silent” toggle is working. The movement is German and marked on the lower portion of the dial. The glass on the front screw-off dial is intact and clean (no cracks). The back of the clock is stamped with, SETH THOMAS DIV. Seth Thomas Clock Helmsman E537-001. Clock has been sitting in storage for about 5 years. Has not been serviced.

The clock movement is currently wound up tight and not running. It ran for about a minute then stopped. The barometer doesn’t appear to be working as well. The mahogany base has some slight sun fading(see last pic). The crystal and dials have no scratches. The finish on the brass has some wear and discoloring(see pics 9 & 10).
