This clock is for parts or repair only. The clock does run. I wound the clock up and the clock runs for a couple of hours then stops. I do not know what is wrong with the clock. The movement might just need to be cleaned. The calendar part of the clock does work correctly. The clock is in Good cosmetic condition. The clock has a wood case. I do not see any cracks, breaks or repairs in the case of the clock. The case does show the normal signs of use with minor surface scratches and scuffs (please see pictures). Perfect running, striking and calendar function on the great Seth Thomas No. 3 Double Dial Calendar Parlor Clock. This clock strikes on a bell, preferred over a gong on some of them. These clocks seem to have some level of veneer loss and it seems characteristic for this model; this one is minor. This is an early Seth Double dial with flat top and lower bezels. Most have rounded bezels. 8 day weight driven lyre striking movement is complete. The photos show the veneer loss.
